AS Roma informs that it has mutually terminated the contract that bound Vincenzo Vergine to the Club. Vergine (who is set to join AC Milan) had taken on the role of manager of the Giallorossi youth sector in June 2021.
"On behalf of the Club, I thank Vincenzo for the energy and commitment he has put forth in these seasons, during which we shared ideas and projects aimed at the growth of the Club's Youth Sector. In bidding him farewell, I extend our best wishes for the upcoming professional challenges that await him," stated Tiago Pinto, General Manager of the Sports Area of AS Roma.
"I would like to thank the Friedkin family and Director Tiago Pinto for the opportunity given to me in these years. I consider it a privilege to have been part of the Giallorossi family and to have been able to contribute to a Youth Sector with a glorious history. I will always hold AS Roma and all the people who stood by me in this journey close to my heart," said Vergine in his farewell.
