Jens Lehmann spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport about tonight's anticipated Champions League game between Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan at the Signal Iduna Park. Here are the words of the German retired goalkeeper who played for both teams in his career:
"I see two teams with equal chances. Milan is much more organised and Borussia concedes a lot, which can make a difference. Of course, Borussia plays in their own stadium, and this can also be important. The slowness of Dortmund's defense? Hummels is slower, that's true, but if he has a fast center-back next to him, he always does well. I don't think this is the most important variable. The key for me will be to see if Terzic can bring organisation to Borussia. Losing the Bundesliga title in the last game can linger in the minds and weigh, even months later."
Lehmann concludes by talking about the goalkeepers:
"Maignan is strong, but I want to see him live to understand if he can be one of the top five in the world. Milan is definitely in good hands, but it's difficult to compare with other goalkeepers. Kobel is good, but he's been at Dortmund for two seasons, he's 25 years old. And a goalkeeper at 25 is still young."
