Mario Balotelli, former Milan player, gave some statements to 'TV Play', talking mainly about Rafael Leao, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Mike Maignan. Here are his words on these topics.
On Rafael Leao:
"Cassano's Leao-Alvarez comparison? Playing for City and Milan today is completely different. Playing in Italy is one thing, in England is another. Leao is fantastic, he has an incredible talent. He is definitely in a difficult situation, because the Milan is on his shoulders", said Balotelli, "There is a risk that he is ruined, because he has shown, but he still has to prove his worth. Now it is too easy to attack Leao because he has all the responsibility on his shoulders. I love Antonio, he was a footballer too, but he wouldn't have accepted a comment like that either."
Balotelli on Gianluigi Donnarumma: and Maignan.
"He is one of the strongest goalkeepers out there. He is absolutely among the best. The hatred towards him was born after the farewell to Milan. Unfortunately, these are things that happen, but the security that he gives is possessed by few. Goalkeepers are like attackers. Every goalkeeper is different. Maignan is a different goalkeeper. They are two excellent shotstoppers. If I have to choose between Donnarumma or Maignan for my team, I say Gigio. But if you give me Maignan, I'm happy anyway. But the best is not Donnarumma or Maignan. It's Julio Cesar, because in the year of the Treble he was extraordinary. Not only on the field, but every day in training. Then if we want to think about the career, then I say Buffon. But Buffon for me has always been the strongest ever."
