Yesterday, it was reported that AC Milan club management have identified a 17-year-old Serbian gem named Matija Popovic as a possible reinforcement for the team in the future (read details here).
According to what is reported by Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan have advanced in the talks to sign the 2006 class player as a free agent in January. The report reveals that the Rossoneri management is leading the race and they are "confident of getting a deal done soon". It should also be noted that there are multiple clubs keen on securing his arrival.
Popovic's contract with his club expires in December. He is a right-footed attacking midfielder who is also capable of playing as a left-winger.
