We're getting closer to the winter transfer window, and the AC Milan club management is aiming to make some important, but affordable reinforcements for the team of Stefano Pioli.
The initial plan from executives Giorgio Furlani, Geoffrey Moncada, and Antonio D'Ottavio wasn't a significant overhaul of the squad but rather a couple of adjustments. However, the lacklustre performances and lack of real alternatives in some positions could force them to intervene in the market. But, in addition to that, there are even plans for the summer mercato as well.
The AC Milan directors might consider various forward profiles for the upcoming transfer sessions. A surprising card for the Rossoneri could be Marco Nasti (The 20-year-old Italian centre-forward was sent on loan to Bari in Serie B last summer).
As reported by calciomercato.it, Milan is very interested in Bologna's forward Joshua Zirkzee, who might become available in the next summer transfer window.
Bologna will surely demand a significant fee to let go of their striker. Milan might try to persuade Bologna by offering a counterpart, such as the Italian striker, which could facilitate negotiations for the Rossoneri in the transfer market.
Joshua Zirkzee, a Dutchman with Nigerian roots, is 22 years old. His contract runs until June 2026. The talented centre-forward has scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists to his teammates under the guidance of coach Thiago Motta this season in 15 matches played.
