Arrigo Sacchi granted an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The former coach of AC Milan analysed the situation of various Italian football teams, including, of course, the Rossoneri.
Here are his words:
"Finally, the most complicated task, that of Milan, which is obliged to win at Newcastle and a victory might not be enough. Firstly, they need to start winning, then we'll see. Certainly, Borussia Dortmund will have to beat PSG, and it won't be easy, but the success of Milan seems the most complicated to me. I have confidence, but I wouldn't want to delude myself: too many times this season, the Rossoneri haven't lived up to expectations."
Sacchi continued:
"I'm not sure whose fault it is for such an inconsistent performance, but surely all the responsibility cannot be put solely on Pioli. However, I know that when only foreigners are signed, the process of adaptation will be long and difficult."
