AC Milan won 3-0 yesterday at home against AC Monza at the San Siro. It was beautiful to see especially Jan-Carlo Simic, the Serbian 18-year-old centre-back making his debut as he was promoted from the Primavera team of Ignazio Abate, and scoring a goal.
The joy of the victory however, was a little marred by yet the same problem thar has plagued the Rossoneri team this season: two players were injured. We are talking about Tommaso Pobega who had a hip problem and also Noah Okafor who suffered a thigh muscle issue.
As reported this morning by Il Corriere della Sera newspaper, more information about these injured players will be known today, but a cautious optimism is emerging.
The hope is that these are not serious problems because at this stage of the season, Stefano Pioli needs everyone to find consistency in the league and try to close in on the top two positions.
