The Italian joirnalist, Manuele Baiocchini, reported on Sky Sport Italia that today was a special day at Milanello: there was a lovely initiative devised by the team manager Alberto Marangon. A month ago, he told all the members of the team group about playing the game of "invisible friend." Each person drew a ticket with the name of a team member for whom they would give a Christmas gift.
Today was the day to unwrap these presents.
Among the gifts given were some rare perfumes and even a trip to Disneyland for the entire family. There was also a gift for Stefano Pioli from one of the players: the AC Milan coach received a frame with all the pictures of his grandchildren and the inscription 'Grandpa, you're fantastic.' The initiative was well appreciated by the entire AC Milan team, as relayed via Milan News.
