At the Meet & Greet with fans at Casa Milan, Ismael Bennacer spoke to Milan News about his condition:
"I'm doing well, I'm happy because it's been a month since I returned. Slowly but surely, I'll regain my rhythm. The knee is okay, so I'm happy."
On being a starter:
"We'll see. I'm returning well, working hard. The game's rhythm is different; I need to gradually get back into it."
On the Europa League, Bennacer said:
"I want to contribute in Europe too. The Europa League is an important competition, and I'll give my best to contribute to the team."
On the Africa Cup of Nations:
"The call-ups haven't come out yet. When your national team calls and you're in good shape, it's tough to refuse. If they call me, I'll be available."
On Zlatan Ibrahimovic's return:
"Ibra remains Ibra even if he doesn't play anymore. He has a winning mentality. He'll give us something extra."
On goals for 2024:
"I want to get back in shape as soon as possible. If I'm fit, I can contribute. We have more competitions ahead; we'll do our best to go as far as possible."
On Milan's midfield, Bennacer said:
"We have different players compared to last year. They can offer something different. I'm happy to play with these players."
On his role in midfield:
"I play where the coach needs me. If I feel good, I can do anything."
On yesterday's gift exchange at Milanello:
"I received a nice perfume from Loftus-Cheek, while I gave Lego to a video analyst who is a Lego enthusiast; he was really happy. It was a nice initiative."
