Stefano Pioli's AC Milan will play against Salernitana tonight at 8:45 PM at the Arechi stadium in Salerni. The Rossoneri management, beyond the field, continue to think about the transfer market, however.
This winter session will be influenced by injuries. In fact, the club directors will be seeking a reinforcement in defence. One new face shall be introduced in that department due to the injuries of Pierre Kalulu and Malick Thiaw.
In midfield, however, there is concern. Pobega underwent surgery yesterday in Finland and will be sidelined for at least 4 months (without forgetting Ismael Bennacer's involvememnt in the African Cup with Algeria's national team). For now, however, Stefano Pioli will have to cope with whoever is available for him. He will, once again, rely on the resources of the Primavera.
According to the latest news reported by Pianeta Milan, the Rossoneri head coach will have Kevin Zeroli in the squad list.
Zeroli has been an important player in Ignazio Abate's AC Milan Primavera team and worked with the senior team also in the summer.
In the last weeks and months, Stefano Pioli relied on quite a few players from the youth sector such as promoting Davide Bartesaghi, and deploying the likes of Jan-Carlo Simic, Francesco Camarda and Chaka Traoré.
Let's wait and see how everything will unfold tonight. Zeroli could be the right card for Milan's midfield.
