Enzo Raiola, who had always worked alongside his late cousin Mino Raiola in the past, was a guest on the show 'Croquetas' on DAZN and talked about Gigio Donnarumma. Specifically, he commented on what, according to him, is the treatment reserved for the former goalkeeper of Milan in Italy.
Raiola's words were the following:
"Harassment against Donnarumma? It all starts from Italy. There's this persecution in the pro-Milan press that didn't view his departure from the Rossoneri well: so now, every time something happens, being targeted each time brings likes and views. I hope this media attack can diminish. I can understand the disappointment of Milan fans, but what angers him and us more is the treatment with the National Team."
On Mike Maignan and Gianluigi Donnarumma, he said:
"Maignan is doing very, very well and is also a starter in the (French) national team. A goalkeeper who, as a first impact in Italy, has really done something important. But to say today that there has been an upgrade at Milan compared to Donnarumma... I don't want to exaggerate, but Gigio I don't think is really comparable at this moment: he is the strongest goalkeeper in the world, that's what all the goalkeeper coaches who have had him say. For them, Gigio is a talent beyond any comparison."
