Filippo Terracciano is a new Milan player and he has granted an interview to the club's official channel as he said these words:
"I'm experiencing very positive emotions. I've been welcomed fantastically, so everything has been really great so far."
On Milan's youth development:
"I've seen that many young players are getting opportunities: I'm happy to see so many young players on the field and I hope to play alongside them too."
On his role on the field, Terracciano said:
"I started playing as a midfielder, which allowed me to cover both offensive and defensive phases, so from there, I began performing multiple functions on the field. Then, I was adapted to play as a full-back, and this year, I've covered various other positions, and I must say I adapt quickly. I have this versatility: for any role I've played, I've had a very quick adaptation period."
On goals and the relationship between Stefano Pioli and Antonio Terracciano (Filippo's father, who is a former footballer) :
"The main thing is to help the team and make myself available to the coach. My dad spoke positively about Pioli, describing him as a very straightforward person, and I can't wait to start working with him."
On the September match against Milan at San Siro:
"It was the first time I played at San Siro. The stadium is really important, and I've already felt very strong emotions playing against Milan, so I can't imagine what it'll be like playing for Milan."
On his idol:
"It's always been Cristiano Ronaldo since I was little. Then, over time, I took Kobe Bryant as a model of inspiration, for his work ethic and many other things. He's my point of reference."
On the number 38, Terracciano said:
"My number used to be 24, in honour of Kobe, but it's taken. I chose the number 38 after talking with (Destiny) Udogie, who is now at Tottenham: we grew up together and went through all the youth sector together. I made this choice for him."
He concluded:
"Hello to all Milan fans, I can't wait to get on the field and fight for this shirt."
