Juventus persists in trying to secure the talented Serbian playmaker Matija Popovic. Born in 2006, he has officially become a free agent after seeing his contract expire last month. In the last few hours, a new meeting, the second one, took place between Juventus management, represented by Giovanni Manna and Cristiano Giuntoli, and the player's agents. Part of the player's entourage is not new to Turin, as they also represent Matias Soulé, on whom Juventus will soon have to make a decision about the future, as reported by Calciomercato.com.
While the Milan option seems definitively ruled out, negotiations with Juventus could soon see a decisive acceleration.
The focus of the talks right now revolves around the commissions to be paid to all parties involved, and the presence of Soulé's entourage could facilitate the deal. Juventus is not the only club interested in the player, as he had previously caught the attention of Manchester City. It will still take some time, but the player is eager to move forward.
