According to the latest update offered by Italian journalist Claudio Raimondi for SportMediaset on Italia Uno, there have been new contacts this morning between Milan and Torino for Alessandro Buongiorno.
To let the 24-year-old centre-back, Torino continue to request a fee around 30 to 35 million euros. However, there is an opening by Urbano Cairo to include Lorenzo Colombo's card in the negotiations.
Lorenzo Colombo is currently plying his trade for AC Monza on loan, and it is possible, therefore, that he is used in the deal to lower the amount of money demanded by Torino.
The initial offer from AC Milan was reportedly 20 million euros plus Colombo's card, who is valued by Milan at 15 million euros. However, there is currently a discrepancy between the two clubs regarding the evaluation of the young Italian striker, which Torino values at around 10 million instead.
Nevertheless, Milan is serious about trying to bring Buongiorno to Milanello in this winter transfer window.
