After the arrival of Gonçalo Ramos and the signing of Mario Gila (not yet officially confirmed), Milan are continuing their path with a transfer campaign that will undoubtedly strengthen Ruben Amorim’s squad.
The Portuguese coach appeared at a press conference at Casa Milan a few hours ago, alongside Rossoneri club owner Gerry Cardinale, where he also answered some questions about the transfer market.
The latest hints regarding possible signings, but above all possible players staying, have come from Amorim himself. His desire to keep Modrić at all costs, the praise he has given Pulisic, and his thoughts on a player who will return to Milan after a loan spell: Samuel Chukwueze. The Nigerian winger could be among the players available to the new Milan side, as relayed via Milan Press.
"There are some players who were not here last year. Chukwueze will remain with us; we need players who can beat opponents one-on-one. Saelemaekers can play on the right and on the left, and he likes taking players on. Cissé and Comotto will start with us; I don't know what will happen. We will find new players who were not here last year. If they play well, if they absorb my ideas, then we will find a place for them: before looking outside, we need to look carefully within. After pre-season we will make decisions, but always with attention to the budget. The owner is here... We will assess the young players. Chukwueze has great qualities and gives us alternatives."
