Yacine Adli is making a name for himself, finally, in Serie A this season.
He has found playing time and is standing out in Stefano Pioli's team, especially as a deep-lying midfielder for the Rossoneri, in the absence of Ismael Bennacer.
The goal scored against Roma is just confirmation of the good moment for the Franco-Algerian player.
So much so that today's La Gazzetta dello Sport dedicates a front-page headline to him, titled in the following way:
"Milan, now Adli leads."
With the Yacine Adli, Pioli has turned the tide. More goals and ideas from midfield. On one side, there's his strong charisma in the locker room. The former Bordeaux player is respected by the whole group.
Not surprisingly, sincere compliments have poured in from teammates after his first goal especially from Rafael Leao and captain Davide Calabria. But on the field, he has also integrated well:
The understanding with Tijjani Reijnders is one of the keys to leading the midfield: Yacine Adli and the Dutchman look for each other and complement each other.
