The name of Alessandro Buongiorno, a 24-year-old defender of Torino, has climbed the ranks on AC Milan's transfer market list in the past few hours.
The Rossoneri are considering making a move now, and this morning Gianluca Di Marzio, in his podcast, spoke about it after the dinner in Milan between the player and his agent last night.
Here are Di Marzio's words:
"Milan is waiting for the right moment to make an initial offer to Torino for Buongiorno. It should come already this week. Yesterday, the Toro captain had the opportunity to talk to his entourage in Milan to assess this possibility with Milan. From what we understand, there is openness to consider the option of a transfer to Milan, unlike what happened during the summer when he had said no to the transfer to Atalanta."
Di Marzio talked further about Milan's attempt to sign Buongiorno:
"Now, the agreement between the two clubs is clearly missing: Milan and Torino will talk, and we will see what kind of offer Milan will make, whether it will meet Cairo's demands in a negotiation that also involves the name of Colombo."
