Interviewed by Sportmediaset, Alessandro Florenzi spoke about what happened in Udine:
"Leaving the field, we took a great responsibility, but we were close to Mike: if he hadn't told us he was ready to return, we wouldn't have done it. After the match, we talked about it among ourselves, and as a team, we congratulated ourselves on how we handled it. It's no longer enough to say 'stop racism,' concrete actions are needed that can also go against the so-called 'law of the field."
On the title race, Florenzi said:
"First of all, congratulations to Juventus and Inter for this almost flawless path. We are following our path, and around March-April, we will see where we stand."
On the impact of the new players, especially Okafor and Jovic:
"They integrated exceptionally well into the group; they just needed to regain their best condition. Jovic hadn't even gone through the preparation, Okafor had some physical stop-and-go, but they are strong."
On Rafael Leao's current form:
"From him, being a champion, we always expect a lot, but he makes the team rotate offensively. Two of the three goals we scored in Udine started from him."
When Zlatan Ibrahimovic isn't there, who is the leader at Milan? Florenzi replied:
"We have many, all different, including me. Perhaps that's the secret, having many with different characteristics."
On Daniele De Rossi becoming AS Roma's coach:
"I am happy for a friend; when I read that this possibility existed, I was almost more excited than him."
