Daichi Kamada, the 27-year-old Japanese playmaker, was very close to signing with AC Milan during last summer's transfer window. However, the Rossoneri chose to take a step back and abandoned the negotiations then Lazio swooped in and secured his arrival on a free transfer.
It seems, though, that his experience with the Biancocelesti is not very fruitful as he has been sitting on the bench in the last 4 matches of Lazio. So far this season, he has made 22 appearances across all competitions with just one goal and one assist registered to his name. According to the latest rumours, the player was proposed to the Rossoneri club.
Il Messaggero reports that, despite Kamada being proposed to Milan, no negotiations seem to be ongoing. Looking ahead to June, when his contract with Lazio expires, there are plenty of options: Olympique Marseille has been following him for a while, as well as Valencia and Real Sociedad. According to the newspaper, La Liga would be the player's preferred destination.
At the same time, Lazio's club management could try to convince coach Maurizio Sarri to start using Kamada more in the future.
