Stefano Pioli was awarded at Milanello for the 100 victories achieved since he took over as the coach of the Rossoneri team.
The former Fiorentina boss was presented with a medal by Giorgio Furlani, the Rossoneri's CEO; it's actually a particular case because usually one is awarded for 100 appearances, but the whole Club strongly wanted to commemorate this milestone with a special badge.
During the award ceremony, CEO Furlani delivered a speech, emphasizing the prestige of the milestone of 100 victories with the Rossoneri and recalling, also due to the emotional Sacchi period, the latest statistical achievement by Pioli (220 appearances on AC Milan's bench, matching a legend like Arrigo Sacchi).
Pioli thanked Furlani on behalf of the ownership and the entire management, highlighting the great merit of the players in reaching the 100 victories, thanks to their commitment and mentality:
"We're not satisfied, I hope to achieve another 100 victories", as relayed by Milan News.
