The path in the UEFA Europa League could be the only salvation for Stefano Pioli who is seeking confirmation to remain on the bench of AC Milan for the next season.
He will have to go all the way in the European competition to consider remaining in charge of Milan. In recent weeks, despite Giorgio Furlani's statements, the chances of the Rossoneri coach staying on the Rossoneri bench do not seem very secure, as per Pianeta Milan's report.
It is still unknown who will take his place, although many names have been mentioned.
Among the different names, there is also Julen Lopetegui's profile. According to the Spanish newspaper 'AS', the Spanish coach has reportedly rejected an offer from Crystal Palace with the intention of embarking on an ambitious project where he can start from scratch.
