Fabio Capello, former legendary coach of AC Milan, spoke to the microphones of La Gazzetta dello Sport, commenting on the match that took place yesterday evening at San Siro, between Milan and Atalanta.
Here are his statements:
"Milan created a lot and conceded little, playing better than the opponent, maintaining a very high level of attention for the full 90 minutes, seeking verticality and depth without getting lost in 'tricks' as occasionally happens."
Capello added:
"There's no point beating around the bush, the 1-1 scoreline feels tight for the Rossoneri, and I'm sure there will be some regret for only taking home one point. If I were Stefano Pioli, however, I would still be happy with the performance. And then there's Leao. With all due respect to the others on the field, the Portuguese deserves a separate chapter. He scored an extraordinary goal, but it would be simplistic to stop at that feat. Leao makes a difference with every touch of the ball."
