On March 10th, Francesco Camarda, born in 2008, who has been performing well in the Primavera (youth team), will turn 16 and will therefore be able to sign his first professional contract with Milan. His agent, Beppe Riso, doesn't want to make any strong statements, however.
Here are his words:
"As always with all our clients, we'll have to sit down and carefully consider what the best path is for Camarda."
"We invest a lot in scouting and identifying young talents, and we tailor a path for each of them. So, our goal is to constantly increase their market value, as well as their salary, season after season. We've been following Francesco (Camarda) since 2021, and much of the credit goes to our strategic advisor Marianna Mecacci. He was being followed by the most important Italian player agencies, but we got him because we found him before others and immediately built a strong bond with his family."
Milan are waiting until Camarda turns 16. It's an important date for Milan, as the signing of his first professional contract is scheduled (which will be a three-year agreement, the maximum allowed by the regulations for a minor), much to the disappointment of Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City, who had been tracking the Rossoneri talent, as per Calciomercato.com.
