AC Milan is pleased to announce the return of the Milan Junior Camp project in North America, offering young generations from 23 cities across the United States and Canada a summer rich in initiatives and new experiences, and providing the Club with the opportunity to continue its global growth and strengthen its bond with a strategic market.
Starting from June until August, the new season of Milan Junior Camp will kick off, spanning across much of the United States and Canada, expanding compared to the past, reaching a total of 23 cities.
California, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Texas will be the states hosting the camps in the US territory. Additionally, Virginia will join, where the project will be carried out by the AC Milan Academy Virginia, officially launched at the end of last year.
Simultaneously, the Milan Junior Camps will cross the border, landing in two Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec, regions where they will return for the second consecutive year.
Milan Junior Camps are an incredible opportunity for boys and girls aged 6 to 16 who want to get closer to soccer, representing an engaging and educational project aimed at consolidating and enhancing the motor, technical, tactical, and psychological skills of aspiring footballers through playful activities geared towards both athletic and personal growth.
The training sessions, personally supervised by Official Milan Academy Coaches, are based on the integrated approach of the Milan Method, which focuses on enhancing the potential of young participants through activities aimed at individual improvement, achievable also through the comparison with the positive values of sports and the Rossoneri Club such as respect for rules, teamwork, inclusion, and sharing the same passion.
Franco Baresi, Honorary Vice President of AC Milan, commented on the initiative, saying: "The wide support from fans in North America confirms the strength and importance of the Rossoneri family beyond the ocean, and we are excited to offer the youngest the opportunity to grow in the world of soccer, promoting positive values and fueling passion for our Club. Indeed, Milan Junior Camps reflect the Club's commitment to significantly contribute to the personal growth of participating children and teenagers, with the aim of leaving an indelible mark on their development journey."
AC Milan midfielder and captain of the United States National Team, Christian Pulisic, added: "Football is not just a game, but a vehicle for values that go beyond the field, and as an American, seeing how the passion for this sport has been growing more and more in North America in recent years makes me truly proud. That's why I believe it's important to support initiatives like the Milan Junior Camps, which aim to promote healthy values of sports to younger generations; an objective I am already personally committed to in the American territory. I am pleased that the club I play for shares this positive vision with me and wants to promote and cultivate love for this magnificent sport and for the Rossoneri colors globally."
The arrival of Milan Junior Camps in North American territory underlines the strong bond between AC Milan and North America. With 46 million fans in the US and Canada and recognition as the most appreciated Italian football club in the United States according to the international market research firm YouGov, AC Milan is deeply rooted in the American sports landscape.
The Club's partnerships with the New York Yankees and YES Network, the recent launch of the Fourth kit with partner PUMA, and Los Angeles-based streetwear brand PLEASURES—the most successful jersey launch in the Club's history—as well as last summer's Pre-Season Tour on the West Coast, represent some of the highlights that testify to the presence and influence of the Club in North America.
