Even Il Sole 24 Ore speaks about the issue that led the Milan Prosecutor's Office to search Casa Milan and identify Giorgio Furlani and Ivan Gazidis as suspects.
The Italian newspaper headlines:
"Milan, searches at headquarters. Prosecutor's spotlight on ownership."
The suspects are four, besides the current and former CEOs of the Rossoneri, there are also Daniela Italia and Jean-Marc McClean, managers of Elliott and administrators of the Luxembourg company Project RedBlack.
The hypothesis of the crime can be traced back to article 2638, namely: "obstruction of the exercise of functions of public supervisory authorities." And according to the prosecutors, as reported bythe source, they would have declared: "material facts not corresponding to the truth."
Specifically, the Prosecutor's checks were made in the context of the clash between Elliott and the former minority partner of the Rossoneri club, Blue Skye, regarding the sale of Milan in August 2022.
Blue Skye's appeals in recent years have amounted to nothing, but during this time of investigation, the Prosecutor's Office believes to have gathered a series of clues suggesting that it would come to light that the Elliott fund still owns the AC Milan club, despite the sale being declared.
