Head coach Stefano Pioli was interviewed by DAZN before the Hellas Verona - Milan match. Here are the statements of the Rossoneri boss:
Hellas Verona's head coach, Marco Baroni said that Milan is in its best moment:
"We feel good, we are in good shape, and fortunately, we have all returned in good condition. It will be a complicated match but we have the qualities to do well."
On Ruben Loftus-Cheek's form:
"He has overcome the problems he had at the beginning, he came from a very difficult season, managing him at the beginning allowed him to find greater continuity and performance. He is an important player, he is doing well. Occasionally, I reduce his playing time a bit and this allows him to play the next game."
Okafor as a striker today... Pioli said:
"Oli (Giroud) played the whole game on Thursday, today we may find spaces behind the defense and he is skilled at exploiting these situations. There are the right characteristics for the game we have planned."
A message to Luka Jovic?
"No message, choices are made to field the best lineup for today's match and then have the right substitutions. I chose different characteristics, it's absolutely not a punishment but a choice."
