The news coming from England is very heavy, with several teams being hit hard by the Premier League's financial rules and subsequent penalties. Certainly, Everton has been the most striking case, but Nottingham Forest also risks relegation as they have just received a four-point penalty for breaking the profit and sustainability rules.
There is one player who is playing for Forest and who is a familiar face for the AC Milan fans: Divock Origi. He returned to the English Premier League on loan with a buyout clause set at 4.5 million euros.
The Belgian striker, however, is unlikely to remain with his current team if they are to be relegated. Instead, it seems that there is interest in him from Los Angeles FC, as per a report. As for a potential return to AC Milan, the doors are 'closed', writes Milan Press.
Currently, Nottingham Forest are in the relegation zone indeed with 21 points after 29 matches in the 18th position. Burnley have 17 points in 19th position while Sheffield United are last with 14 points. Luton town and Everton are at 17th and 16th position with 22 and 25 points respectively.
