AC Milan protects its jewels, not only those of the First team. Many names are on the negotiating table for Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada, from Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez to Luka Jovic, Simon Kjaer, Yacine Adli, and Davide Calabria, but the Rossoneri management also thinks about the youngsters.
In fact, as the fans are waiting for Camarda, the AC Milan club management has secured another forward from Ignazio Abate's Primavera: Diego Sia, the 2006 class, has officially extended his contract with the Rossoneri until 2028.
This season has been very interesting and positive on a personal level for Sia. The 18-year-old, actually, is an irreplaceable starter and a strong point in Abate's Primavera Milan, and in February he was also called up by the Italy Under 19s against Austria.
In 2023/24, wearing the Rossoneri shirt, Sia made a total of 37 appearances (26 in the league, 8 in the UEFA Youth League, and 3 in the Coppa Italia Primavera) with 13 goals (8 in the league, 5 in the Youth League) and 8 assists across the three competitions, as pointed out by Calciomercato.com.
