During the last transfer window sessions, Assan Ouédraogo, a very young midfielder from Schalke 04, has been linked with Milan, and there are updates from Germany which reveal the truth about current interest from different clubs.
The Rossoneri club wanted to make an addition in that area of the field in January by taking a promising player and had set their sights on the German talent. The decision of the young man to conclude the season with his club and his injury, not too serious but of a certain level, effectively slowed down any transfer decision. It is, however, not certain that the Rossoneri cannot make another attempt during the summer window, writes Pianeta Milan.
As for the updates from Germany, journalist Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport Deutschland wrote that Ouédraogo intends to make a decision soon, possibly by early May.
Schalke 04 club management obviously hopes he stays, but in Germany, Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayern Munich, and RB Leipzig are also interested. Abroad, specifically in Italy, Atalanta is pushing for his arrival with several talks having took place. AS Roma are also interested in addition to Premier League side Newcastle. There was no mention of Milan in the journalist's report.
