Interview with two players of the American national team in Serie A, on one side Weston McKennie and on the other Christian Pulisic. The two, friends in life and teammates with the United States national team, have talked about their relationship to ESPN, as relayed via Milan News:
Weston McKennie, Juve's midfielder:
"We met in California along with 80 other players. I was sitting behind him. We even thought about how to celebrate goals and we became friends. He was afraid of the elevator and accompanied me up the stairs. We've known each other for a long time and have always been close. It's crazy to play in Italy for two rival teams."
Christian Pulisic, AC Milan's winger:
"Actually, I was surprised by how difficult many of the games are. I think it's been a great test for me. I've had a lot of time on the field to show what I can do and sometimes I've been given a creative role and a lot of freedom, which has been a huge part in regaining that confidence in myself and growing it."
