Giorgio Furlani spoke to DAZN microphones in the post-match interview of Juventus - Milan, which ended 0-0. Here are his words:
On Rafael Leao:
"Rafa is a Milan player, he has a long contract and wants to stay, so he stays."
On the next coach:
"We have a coach, his name is Pioli. We are focused on finishing well, the season hasn't gone as we hoped because we are Milan and we have to win, we hold onto second place tightly."
If there's something that bothered them:
"There are many rumors going around, we want to continue working hard. All these rumors are a bit annoying, the players have said it too: enough, we want to play football and win games."
On Julen Lopetegui:
"Dozens of names have been mentioned, we are already planning the future with the market. We want to strengthen the team with the market, this year we haven't won but that's the goal."
On Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Furlani said:
"Zlatan has been a champion on the field and is showing it off the field too. He brings great experience, his ideas and opinions are fundamental for the future of the club."
On what kind of player to buy:
"I always say: don't ask me technical questions, Zlatan and Moncada will speak. The important thing is to improve the team."
If he has a message for the fans, Furlani said:
"The message to the fans: we are grateful and fortunate because they are the best fans in the world, they are an asset to the club. If they are unsatisfied it's because they are as ambitious as the club is and we have to do better."
On which rumors they didn't like:
"There have been too many rumors about changing the coach and the market, they are part of the game, but we are focused on the real field and not on these rumors."
