Former AC Milan midfielder, now DAZN pundit, Massimo Ambrosini, has made some statements about the future Rossoneri team coach and about Stefano Pioli, who is increasingly close to leaving. Here is what he said about the matter:

"If Milan has chosen to change the coach, which seems obvious to me, they must choose someone who is not eager to clash but to bring out the best from the strongest players it has."
Ambrosini added:
"Milan has lacked leadership and personality a lot lately: the technically strong players are there and a coach who knows how to stimulate the strongest players in the right way must be found. There are three of them: Leao, Maignan, Theo. They are the ones who could have done more in these last games. Players show themselves in important matches, those three need to be stimulated in the right way."
On Stefano Pioli, he said:
"Pioli's work has been downgraded too quickly, Milan fans have forgotten too quickly what this gentleman has done with this team."
