The clash between Elliott and Blue Skye, within the framework of the sale operation that led Milan to RedBird, adds a new chapter, and perhaps it's the final one.
The former minority partner (Blue Skye owned 4.27% of Project RedBlack, the company that controlled 100% of Rossoneri Sport Investment, which in turn controlled the AC Milan football club) has failed in another attempt to obtain a decision from a court against Elliott or its affiliates.
As reported by Calcio & Finanza, on February 28, 2024, the 'Chambre du Conseil' of the Luxembourg Court issued a dismissal order, dismissing all criminal investigations against Rossoneri Sport Investment (Elliott) and its respective executives, including Jean Marc McLean, an employee of Elliott.
Following a thorough examination of the documents seized during the searches, the Luxembourg authorities confirmed that they will not take further action. Furthermore, the court has ruled that it is necessary to restore the situation prior to the seizures, which is why the return of all seized items and assets to their rightful owners has been ordered.
