According to Calciomercato.com, this morning Milan reportedly met with Gordon Stipic, who represents the interests of both Malick Thiaw and Wolfsburg's French centre-back Maxence Lacroix who is 24 years old.
The meeting, as per the source, took place because the club wants to get updates on the situations of the two players. As for Thiaw, the German defender is said to be eager to know his true role from now on within the Rossoneri team. According to the source, Thiaw could also have a lot of market value, and Milan could make a significant capital gain.
The remaining book value as of June 30, 2024, will be "only" 5.3 million euros, as relayed via Pianeta Milan.
Regarding Lacroix, it is mentioned that he is a favourite of the Rossoneri sporting director, Antonio D’Ottavio, who has been following him for the past month. Milan has been studying him for months, and this meeting with his agent served to understand the feasability of a potential deal and the evaluation that Wolfsburg makes of him.
Maxence Lacroix is in fact the most appreciated names by Milan to take the place of the Danish central defender Simon Kjaer who is nearing the end of his contract, as per the report.
