According to Sky Sport Italia, head coach Stefano Pioli will opt for some drastic decisions for Milan-Cagliari: for technical reasons, in fact, Theo Hernandez, Rafael Leao, Davide Calabria, and Fikayo Tomori will start from the bench.
There will also be a switch to 4-3-3 with Yunus Musah inserted in midfield alongside Tijjani Reijnders and Ismael Bennacer, and the attacking trio composed of Christian Pulisic on the left, Samuel Chukwueze on the right, and Olivier Giroud up front; in defence, only Mattia Gabbia and Alessandro Florenzi are confirmed, with Malick Thiaw added in the centre and Pierre Kalulu on the right.
MILAN (4-3-3): Sportiello; Kalulu, Gabbia, Thiaw, Florenzi; Musah, Rejinders, Bennacer; Pulisic, Chukwueze, Giroud.
