On the occasion of Mother's Day, scheduled for Sunday, May 12th, Milan has come up with a very special initiative.
The Rossoneri players in Saturday evening's match against Cagliari, which will be played at San Siro at 8:45 pm, will take to the field with the names or surnames of their respective mothers on their jerseys, instead of their own.
The initiative will not be exclusive to the Rossoneri but is supported by other Serie A clubs who will do the same over the weekend. As per the report from the Italian website Calcio e Finanza, these are the clubs that will participate in this initiative: Cagliari, Genoa, Hellas Verona, Lecce, Milan, Torino, and Udinese.
