Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has provided an update on the matter of the new coach at Milan. Here are his words for the Sky Sport Italia studio.
"Conceicao? A forced coexistence with Villas-Boas, because he didn't vote for him to be the new president. He wants to go to Milan, his agent Jorge Mendes is pushing for him to be the chosen one. Milan also likes Fonseca very much and insisted on presenting him a project, but he was called by Marseille first, offering him a three-year deal and giving him carte blanche. If there are any developments on De Zerbi or Conte or coaches that we don't know are among Milan's favorites, we'll find out in the coming weeks."
Will Rafael Leao, Theo Hernandez, and Mike Maignan stay?
"I think Leao will definitely stay, there's a question mark on Theo and Maignan regarding contract renewal. An agreement will need to be reached."
