Christian Pulisic is experiencing a record-breaking year with Milan, so much so that he has proven to be the most successful signing of last summer.
His brace against Cagliari has brought him to 12 goals in the league. As reported by Opta, the American has become the first midfielder for Milan to score more than 10 goals, excluding penalties, in a single season of the competition since Kaká in 2005/06.
Never before had the former Chelsea player scored 12 goals in a single season, which now becomes 15, counting all competitions.
Speaking about him to DAZN, Stefano Pioli said: "In my opinion, he is a phenomenal player. He has a quality in his choices, an intensity... When I met him this summer on Zoom, I had very positive perceptions, and then working with him, they were even better than I thought, both in terms of the player's quality and as a person, for the professional he is."
