Luca Lucci, head of the Curva Sud Milano, announces in a video posted on his Instagram profile that for the Milan - Salernitana match, the last of the 23/24 season, the organised fan groups will temporarily suspend their protest:

"The upcoming weekend's match will be the last of this season, and from our side, we will end the year in the only way we always want to: by incessantly supporting our colours and making San Siro the cauldron it usually is. The message to the entire Milan environment must be clear: the Rossoneri people are no longer willing to accept projects that do not aim for the highest level both in Italy and in Europe. We are a people that have won like no other in Italy and have always stood out for our closeness to our team, even in the most difficult moments of its long history. We understand that it is not always possible to win, but being prepared and equipped to do so is another matter! A winning project is now demanded! A project that starts from the bench, passes through the field, and reaches the management!"

"Do you want this curva? Do you want this stadium and this atmosphere always? Well, now it is up to you to 'pay the price of admission,' now it is up to you to simply act. Milan and the Milanisti have always understood, justified, and comprehended every situation, but never mistake our intelligence for resignation!!! Because Milan has never settled and never will. We have gone through terrible years, we have returned to the top, and now no one wants to move from there. We have paid too much for ownership changes, etc., etc. The Rossoneri people want the team to return to occupying the role of undisputed protagonist, the role that the Rossoneri people have always firmly held in the stands of every stadium! Second to none!!! On Saturday, bring banners, flags, and standards! Everyone will see once again what they can miss... for the good of Milan!! Always!"
