The AC Milan club have reportedly been interested in signing the German midfield talent Assan Ouédraogo. However, it seems that a deal is unlikely for the Rossoneri to bring the Schalke 04 player.
The club effectively dropped out of the race for the young talent who is 18 years old when the deal for Matija Popović to join the Rossoneri fell through, as per what is reported by Matteo Moretto, the journalist of Relevo.
The two players share the same agent. Since then, contacts between the parties have practically ceased.
In fact, Assan Ouédraogo will remain in the Bundesliga. According to the latest update, Bayern Munich is ready to sign him permanently and then loan him back to Schalke 04.
