AC Milan might sign a right-back this summer to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season. In recent weeks, 21-year-old Portuguese player Tiago Santos from Lille and 25-year-old Brazilian full-back Emerson Royal from Tottenham have been strongly linked with the Rossoneri.
While both players share similar technical characteristics, they differ in age and international experience, as relayed via Milan News.
Currently, there are more updates regarding the Brazilian player. According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Emerson Royal has shown great openness to a possible move to Milan. Negotiations, however, with Tottenham have not yet reached their hottest phase, but it is believed that more updates could come soon.
With a contract expiring in June 2026, Emerson Royal is valued by the Spurs at 20 million euros.
