For months, the top name on the list for AC Milan's Ibrahimovic, Moncada, and Furlani has been Joshua Zirkzee, a forward born in 2001 who has impressed everyone with Bologna, scoring 11 goals in the league this season and leading them to Champions League qualification with high-class performances. The Dutch player has a release clause of 40 million euros, which Milan seems intent on paying, although the deal cannot be finalised with the 'simple' payment of the release clause alone...
The obstacle at the moment is represented by the commissions. Zirkzee's agent, Kia Joorabchian, wants to leverage a rather low release clause (40 million euros) to ask the club for commissions amounting to around 15 million euros; a significantly high figure. But, Giorgio Furlani intends to negotiate the commission fee and reduce it, also while relying on the Dutchman's will to join Milan, as relayed via Milan News.
