Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani tried to return to Milan. The attempt came in 2022, after winning the Scudetto, and now the former Rossoneri CEO spoke about it and said these words:
"Berlusconi attended the celebration and heard the chants 'there's only one president.' So, he went to Scaroni asking to speak with Singer, to buy 25% with the condition of returning as president, while I was to be the CEO. He talked to Singer, but nothing came of it. The beautiful thing is that a week later Monza got into Serie A. In 110 years, only Silvio Berlusconi could achieve that."
Regarding the secrets of a winning AC Milan, he added:
"There was a sense of belonging that was wonderful. I think many of Milan's victories came from this sense of belonging. The smartest thing was said by Andrea Pirlo: 'We won because we felt good together.'"
