This morning, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that around 70 million euros will be needed for these two acquisitions: Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and Armando Broja from Chelsea. That is a sum that Milan is ready to invest without any issues. To acquire Zirkzee from Bologna, as known, the Rossoneri will have to pay the 40 million euro release clause, plus additional agent fees. Optimism around this deal is growing on Via Aldo Rossi, and the final agreement is expected with great confidence.
Zirkzee has long been the primary target for the Rossoneri, but they do not intend to stop there. Milan understands the need for another striker given the long season ahead, which requires a more competitive squad than this year.
In this sense, Chelsea's Broja is highly regarded by Milan's management: in recent months, Chelsea has indicated that they want rather high figures, but the Blues need to sell, and therefore the Albanian player could change teams for 20 million euros.
