As every summer, Tommaso Pobega becomes a sought-after player in the transfer market. According to Tuttosport, Torino and Fiorentina have shown interest in the AC Milan midfielder, who has taken some time to reflect on his future.
The newspaper reports that if Pioli had remained, the player would have requested a transfer because he was at the bottom of the former Milan coach's choices and wants to play more regularly.
The arrival of Fonseca, however, could change the situation for the class of '99 player to try his luck during the summer training camp in hopes of convincing the Portuguese boss.
His goal remains to succeed with the Rossoneri colour. For its part, the club is not making him untouchable but would keep him as an alternative to the starters.
Pobega, in the season that has just ended, has made 15 appearances this season between Serie A and Coppa Italia. He played a total of 464 minutes. His contract runs until the summer of 2027. The left-footed player previously represented Torino while on loan from Milan in the 2021-2022 season.
