Quite the opposite. The striker, born in 2008, was heavily affected by the shoulder injury that required surgery and kept him sidelined for virtually the entire second half of the season. At the same time, however, he scored his first Serie A goal, achieved survival, and made his debut for the national team. This summer, it will also be necessary to gain a clear understanding of his future.

This morning, Corriere dello Sport focused precisely on the future of Francesco Camarda. He ended the season with a goal, but just when he was beginning to find his rhythm, the shoulder injury forced him to remain out for several months. He returned towards the end of the season and contributed to Lecce's successful fight against relegation. CorSport's headline reads: "Camarda's future is yet to be written."
In this regard, the situation is clear: once someone is appointed to lead the sporting department, a decision will be made on whether to keep him in order to make use of the various competitions and a squad that could lose several players, or to send him out on loan. At present, the second option remains the more likely one.
