Verona is safeguarding itself in case Lorenzo Montipò departs. For the goalkeeper role, the idea is Devis Vasquez, a Colombian born in '98 whose card belongs to AC Milan. Since January, he has been playing on loan in Serie B with Ascoli and will return to the Rossoneri.
Last season, he played his only two official matches in Italy with Milan's Primavera team before going out on loan this season. In the first part of the championship, he played in England with Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship, making 10 appearances before returning to Italy in the January transfer window.
In the past six months, he has been on loan at Ascoli, which was relegated to Serie C after the playoffs. Despite this, he managed to make ten appearances in Serie B, as relayed via Gianluca Di Marzio.
