AC Milan are still looking into the possibility of signing Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna. In fact, he has long been a declared target for the Rossoneri's market, but negotiations have stalled due to the 15 million euros in commissions requested by the player's agent, Kia Joorabchian.
This is a sum that the Rossoneri club management does not seem willing to pay. Zirkzee, however, remains the top name on the list because the club directors hope to continue negotiations and maintain diplomatic efforts with his agent.
In the background, many names are being considered as alternatives. In today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, aside from Romelu Lukaku, who might be more of a late-market opportunity, the name of Tammy Abraham is also mentioned again. He is leaving Roma and is looking for a chance at 'redemption' after missing practically the entire last season due to a knee injury sustained in June 2023. According to the newspaper, Abraham is a forward who is liked by Paulo Fonseca and is among the possible alternatives considered to Zirkzee.
