Joshua Zirkzee's future will not be at Milan, it seems. According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, representatives of the Dutch striker are working to finalise the details for his move to Manchester United.
Initially, with an agreement with the player and the family's preference, Milan was not too worried about competition from the English club. However, week by week, Manchester United made significant progress in the negotiations for Zirkzee, leading to today, the day of the possible and definitive breakthrough.
After notifying Bologna of their intention to pay the 40 million euros release clause to free the Dutchman, Manchester United is now ready to make the decisive move for Joshua Zirkzee. The deal seems to be close to completion, especially since the English club has reportedly agreed to pay the commissions requested by Kia Joorabchian, something Milan has always opposed on principle.
