Regarding the negotiations between Milan and 31-year-old Alvaro Morata, Claudio Raimondi, speaking on SportMediaset, reports that the deal will be finalised between today and tomorrow. Today, the player will inform Atletico Madrid's management of his intention to leave and transfer to Milan.
The payment of the 13 million euros release clause plus taxes, totaling 15 million euros, might not be necessary, as a more amicable negotiation is possible. A four-year contract is ready for the Spanish striker. Everything is set for Morata's arrival at Milan, and if all goes well, he will undergo medical examinations between Wednesday and Thursday in Madrid.
Once the Morata deal is closed, Milan will be able to focus on Youssouf Fofana, a midfielder from Monaco. There is still a gap between the two clubs, around 4 to 5 million euros, with the Monaco club not lowering its demand of 25 million euros for now. But, Milan already has an agreement with the French midfielder who is 25 years old.
